Following on from Ditching the Suit and it’s cliffhanger, Family Ties quickly jumps back into the action and has you turning the pages until you find yet another cliffhanger at the end of this book. The book was full of action and plenty of suspense.Family Ties is told from three perspectives; Kyle’s, Veronica’s and Duke’s, who was mentioned at the end of book one and takes on a much large role in book two. While there is some romance in this book there isn’t quite as much focus on it as the book unfolds as there was in the previous book (it’s not called for given the plot) but more than enough to satisfy romance fans.
As with Ditching the Suit, Family Ties is a relatively short, well written and easy to follow book. Obviously to read this book, you do need to have read the previous book in this series to understand things as it picks up right where book one ended. The plot of the series is well thought out and moving along at a realistic but fast pace. The thing that stopped with rating this four stars was a couple of little errors throughout the book. Also, if you are not a fan of cliffhangers, you won’t enjoy this book.
I’m looking forward to reading part three and really hoping these two will get a HEA very soon and all issues will be resolved and overcome!

I loved Ditching the Suit, but Family Ties was even better. I was hooked right from page 1! There was alot of action in this book, and the ending completely caught me off guard. Can't wait to see how it all turns out!
I am loving this series. Enjoying the twists and turns. Can't wait for the next book in the series.
Jessica Kelly is killing it with this next Montgomery series. The plot twist in this one, never saw it coming. And the chemistry between Kyle and Veronica is unbelievable. Can't wait to see how this all plays out!
This is book 2 in the series. It picks up where Ditching the Suit left off. The romance and drama continue with Kyle and Veronica along with their friend Duke. There are twists and turns that keep you reading and wanting more. I can't wait to see what happens with Kyle, Duke, and Alejandro in the next book.
